Delivery

Dedicated Plant & Directly Managed Delivery

We operate dedicated construction plant and work with established plant and specialist surfacing partners where project scale or specification requires additional resources. Every project is managed directly by Hinchliffe Surfacing using our own workforce and approved specialist installation partners where required. All work remains subject to the Hinchliffe specification, supervision and quality-control process.

What you are actually comparing

Two documents can look like the same driveway and describe entirely different construction. The difference is what has been assessed before a price is produced, and what is written down afterwards.

Typical surface-led quotation

  • Surface selected first
  • Standard excavation assumed
  • Limited drainage investigation
  • Minimal written construction specification
  • Price-led comparison

Hinchliffe engineered proposal

  • Site assessed first
  • Existing construction investigated
  • Loading and drainage considered
  • Complete pavement specified
  • Materials and layers documented
  • Variations controlled
  • Installation inspected
  • Handover completed
  • Guarantee and aftercare issued

We assess the existing construction, ground conditions, levels, drainage, access and intended loading before recommending the correct surface system.

Guarantees & warranties

Five-year Hinchliffe workmanship guarantee

Qualifying Hinchliffe full-system installations include a five-year workmanship guarantee covering defects arising directly from our installation, subject to the written terms and exclusions.

Manufacturer product warranties, confirmed in writing

Applicable Daltex and Tobermore product warranties vary according to the selected product, complete system specification and manufacturer eligibility requirements. The applicable warranty is confirmed in writing before contract.

Written specification with every proposal

Sub-base depth, drainage strategy, edge restraint and surface, documented before you sign.

The digital equivalent of our proposal pack

Before you choose a contractor, you should understand exactly how your driveway will be designed, specified, built and guaranteed. This resource follows the same engineering process we use when producing every Hinchliffe proposal. The accreditations on this page are what make that promise credible.
